OOOOOffffff, energizing class, up front reminding everyone to get into groups and start work on the article summary presentation, offering peer handouts from my Thursday class as an example, introducing our guest, Dr Karen Garcia, who will be in charge of GM foods and hybrid cars while I take nuclear power and , and finding everyone so slow to align, then moving around constantly between groups, checking they had understood the article before moving to a focus on an issue, and slowly some groups moved off to the computer room to prepare and research. Meanwhile Karen and I kept circulating and checking and working to promote comprehension, me in a mix of English and Japanese....not a moment in the class today when we were not required, to listen to queries, help clarify and support, but what fun, full of intensity and work and inspiration
